What do you guys do with your detachable head units

I have a 880PRS and I think it has come out twice the few months I have had it. Only time I take it out is if I am in a bad section of town. Plus my car has tinted windows and cant see much inside, which isnt always a good thing.

i'll detatche there head from there body with a baseball bat.. once my two way security system gose off!!!!!

i dont move or detache anything....... i shouldent have too...

i detach mine and LOCK my glove works like a charm...

The only time I ever take mine off is when I'm going to leave my truck somewhere for more than a few hours and there are a lot of people around, such as the mall or movies. Even then, I just stick it under the seat in the little case. But you know what they say, out of sight, out of mind.

what ever is valuable gets locked in my glovebox, hidden, or taken with me. matters on where i am.

I take it out every night and when im at school I take it out too. Some kids have had whole systems jacked in the school parking lot.

our school has cameras so i dont have to worry about that...haha...but if i do take it off i just lock it in my glovebox...inless its extremely hot out, then ill just take it cause the glove box tends to get hotter than the inside of the car, and idk if that would be good for the faceplate thing
