what do i need?

Hey what's up everybody. I jus got a 1999 gmc yukon denali and the bose speakers in there right now are just not good enough. I have about 1500 bux to spend but i am gonna buy everythin on ebay unless u guys kknow of a better and cheaper place. OK now for what i need help with. I need to know a couple of things

1. I want to have a 15" sub in the middle with 2 12" subs next to it. what would i have to buy for the best power and what else do i need for it to work.... such as an amp or anything else.

2. i have been looking at a AUDIOBAHN AWT15X 15" sub that has 6000 watts total power i think it was for about 330. if i had that and the 2 12's could i really break the windows and if not would anythin more powerful or less powerful break my windows?

3. and finaly anything else that u could think of i would greatly apreciate everything that u have to offer.

you know you shouldent mix subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif and for reccomendations of equip, you wont find many here that will reccommend audiobahn, search around on here and you will find out what works good, and what doesnt, for all kinds of applications.

if your looking to "break the windows" (you never will) for a pretty fair price, you micht look at the kicker l5/l7 models, 2 12's or 2 15's would do you nicely, then youl need and amp, box, wire, then better hu, then better speaks ect, its quite a process

brandon hit the nail on the head; don't mix and match sizes. Either go with 3 12's or 2 15's, but don't mix and match them.

You won't break your windows with anything other than a brick, so don't even worry about it. Also, brandon hit the nail on the head again, Audiobahn sucks hardcore....there are fair better products available. Lastly, that sub will not handle anywhere near 6000w. That's a number called "peak" power, which is totally and utterly meaningless. And just because some sub has a super humongo power handling figure, that doesn't make it the best.

Honestly, it's pretty easy to tell you are fairly new to this. Spend a good amount of time on here researching (like, weeks or months) before you blow your $1500 and end up with a not-so-good sounding system. It'd be very easy to "screw up" with that money, and end up with products that perform only half as well as what you could have obtained.

Also, $1500 will get you products that can perform very, very well. You need to learn how to properly install those products to maximize their performance. Installation and setup is a MAJOR part of how your system performs, the products are only part of the equation.
