Newer car with a ton of computer stuff? Or is it a vehicle with no computer, mechanical fuel pump, roll-up windows manual door locks, a normal ignition system?

gerbils will work, and guinea pigs as well. however, since guinea pigs are much heavier duty, they may be out of your budget.

you plan on competing or daily listening? You plan on trying to get all 2000wrms all the time? I wouldn't get that yellowtop, try a powermaster or kinetik battery instead IMO. I got a yellowtop so I know they are good batteries, but for what you're gonna pay you can do better. A bigger alt is a good idea, look into Iraggi alts instead though. They're on ebay and I've heard good things.

ya, agreed. my powermaster 2700 was 80$ cheaper then a yellow top.

this is for daily listening..so no not 2000rms constantly. just for when i feel the need. im a lil disappointed in the box but o well. so i should look at powermaster?

IMO yeah

Im buying two more 2700s for my box to run 2 EQ phd 5ks, so you should be alright, I used my 1 power master 4 gauge to my amps (each amp) 1100D and a 500 watt 4 channel. and only 4 gauge for my big 3, which will soon be all 2/0 welding wire.

im running right around 2kw rms and i needed a bigger alt (150A), but i still get a little dimming even with that and the big 3 done...im considering a bigger battery (possibly a second)
