What crossovers/processors do you guys use?

Well noise is deffintley and issue as well, which I am working on as well because recently deadened my car and took everything out and then reinstalled and viola, god dam engine noise out the yahoo! I think I may have blown the fuse in the deck and need to ground the rca's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
I think there's a thread on how to eliminate the grounding issues with the 880prs somewhere on here.

Yeah, Ultimate hooked me up with it and I read it sometime ago just to read it and now I need to refer to it as I have that problem, when I didn't. Pissed me off, but oh well. I am back into full flange installing again, lol!

just installed my RF 3sixty.2 when i did the new amp and im loving it so far, does everything i would need it to do plus some

wouldnt pay the 600-700 retail for it though, but if you can get a good deal its real nice

I was looking into one of those, but it couldn't run as many amps as I wanted. I have a 4 channel for the 3 way front stage, and a two channel for the rear fill plus low end. I 3Sixty.2 couldn't handle separating the freq's to that many amps.

Yeah, going next week probably to try it active. Have to deaden the doors first, then install the Alpine type x componet set and then try and fix the noise coming from my radio and after that will do the active setup. Thanks for the help guys.
I would just remind you that when you are deadening your doors...do really take your time with it. I thought I did taking about 2-4 hours per door, and I did a great job with CRAZY amounts of dynamat and dynaliner all between the holes etc comes to find out that inside my passenger CHEAP civic door some stupid small piece is vibrating only on certain frequencys. Not too big of a deal.. Im going to have to cut out one of the holes I filled on the right side and just kill thepiece with dynamat.

Its just a PITA when you think you did a great job, come to find out its this stupid small thing and its going to take some more time to finish..

Oh yeah, believe me I will take my time. I have a thread in the build log about my sound deadening so far and has taken me over 10 hours and 2 weeks to do just the trunk and I still have the top of the rear deck to do as I am doing 100% of the car.

So still left and next is doors front and even doing back. It is a 4dr sedan. Then hitting up the floors, firewall and the roof last. I do get a really annoying vibration from the top of the plastic compartments where you put yout garage opener or sunglasses. Matter of fact one of the lights broke from the bass as it gets real loud up there. Well it snapped the real thin piece the light reflects in the car. No biggie, but annoying!

Yeah I have my trunk pretty much fully done, and that shyt took me, and a friend probably 20-30 hours....massive amounts of deadener everywhere. especially in the hard to reach areas....its a pain. My front doors probably took 4-5 hours each. I never really thought about doing the floors, and roof etc. I would probably go al out on a newer car, but I have an older 92 civic...in great condition overall in the way it was taken care of previously by the 1 owner from FL, I was really suprised how nice the interior was for being 15+ years old!
