What car?

In my experience, Toyotas and Subarus for long lasting engines. My dad had a Toyota 4Runner that had 350K on it before it staretd having problems not worth fixing for the cash.

Toyotas are cheaper to fix though.

get like an 02-03 lincoln ls... the price on them has dropped since they came out with the mkz, you can get them in a v6 or v8 if you want more power, they are sleek and stlyish, and look super clean... search on autotrader they always have some pretty decent ones...

I would look into getting one of the 200-2004 Chevy Monte calros, they can be had around that price with the SS package if you look hard enough. The 3800 series engine in them is also supposed to last 250,000 miles+. Not to mention the trunk space, and car in general is large, and comfortable. Very smooth ride, good pickup, plenty of performance parts, and its a bit different, not too many around.

WTF! Those cars are one of the more common ones around, lol! Lay off the pot!

I say take a good look at that accord. Sounds like it may be a good deal.

Also a nice Nissan Maxima, but might be hard to find with low miles for that price range. Might even consider a Civic?

I love my Focus ST, but that is out of your price range.
