What battery terminals can I use?

Also nearly all newer cars come with a protective cover over the positive terminal.

Right, quit flexing your e-penis, we all know how smart you are. I would make a guess that most newer cars come with a cover due to the fact that somewhere along the line, some moron dead shorted the battery across the positive and negative terminals and sued the car company.

If you get in a minor accident or if you don't have your batt strapped down, you could cause a short. Also it makes a bigger bullseye for a wrench/etc to fall on when you are working on your car.

So in conclusion, I'm just suggesting theres slightly more risk by having your 'giant terminals' exposed.

better if you can find them online but home depot has them for like 3.50 a terminal.

That was my only question. Your original post read like you were at risk simply for having too many attachments to your battery. There are a number of things you can do to cover the "giant" terminals if you're concerned.
