What battery terminals can I use?

I am updating my "Big 3" with all 0 gauge wire, but also have a 0 gauge wire that go to the back of the car for the AMPS and a 8 gauge wire for the Starter. I can not find a battery terminal that supports three 0 gauge wires and one 8 gauge all at the same time. I found these:

565-000-00

Would it be safe to use these. Basically I would be able to connect the Alternator, starter, fuse box and amps, if it is OK. If not, what do you guys recommend? Thanx in advance.

actually just noticed u probly dont have the same kin da terminal. in that case put the copper connectors in my pic onto ur marine terminal in ur pic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif problem solved

better if you can find them online but home depot has them for like 3.50 a terminal. expensive but once u do these connectors u will never want any other kind. they are badass. i can literally move my car by pulling the wire on the connector and it doesnt budge at all

You have to be careful to not have too much conductive material at the terminals. It is risky and can cause major damage. If the positive ternimal shorts to ground your batt will explode.

I always make sure my terminals are covered and protected.

I would use this for the top terminals:

And if you need to add more 0ga or 8ga cables you can get T blocks, there are all kinds.

Am I missing something? Why do you need 3 1/0 gauge inputs? Shouldn't you only need 2?
On my positive side I have:

1/0 to fuse block to amp

1/0 to factory fuse block

factory positive cable

On my negative side I have:

1/0 to ground (extra cable I added)

4g to ground (factory ground cable)

1/0 to ground (extra cable I added)

I ran my own grounding kit using 1/0:

battery to frame

battery to fender

***** to fender

cylinder head to fender

upper intake to fender

I still need to run:

1/0 positive to fuse block to alternator

Are you saying if you make too many connections at your battery that it will explode? As far as covering the terminals, I drove cars for years and years that did not have anything covering the terminals (came from the factory with "open-top" terminals). I never had a battery explode on my because the terminals were not covered. Now if you are careless enough to "dead short" the battery, the you would have some major problems on your hands.

So...you're saying since nothing has happened to you...then nobody has anything to worry about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Why don't you read my whole post, instead of just taking one sentence. I said car manufacturers never used to cover the positive battery post, and I've never hear of a battery exploding because it had too many connections made to it. I also said IF YOU DEAD SHORT THE BATTERY, YOU WILL HAVE SOME ISSUES.

Your previous post says you cannot have too many conductive materials at the post as it can be risky and cause "major damage". It sounds to me like you stated too many battery connections can cause major damage. I simply stated I've never heard of a battery exploding because of too many connections. If I read your post wrong, I apologize, maybe YOU need to clarify your previous post.

Again, if you dead short the battery, you will/COULD have major issues. As far has having "open-top" battery terminals (uncovered), I've never seen, or heard of a problem simply because the terminal was uncovered. Please don't quote me out of context, I NEVER IMPLIED/STATED THAT BECAUSE IT HASN'T HAPPENED TO ME, THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. We apparently agree on the effect of dead shorting a battery. Some of us need additional connections other than those offered by "covered" terminals. In my case, the ring terminals are much easier to deal with, and the terminals I used allow you to pretty much make as many connections as needed without using additional "T" terminals. IN MY OPINION, using "T" blocks just gives you another opportunity for a positive cable to come loose, and cause a short.
