You don't run "watts" to your battery...

I've been using an Optima Yellow Top for the last three years, but that's mostly out of laziness as they were sold at Autozone for cheap, and I needed a battery right then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If I were to ever replace it, I'd get a Kinetik HC2400.

I went the el-cheapo route and got a Duralast Gold from Auto Zone - the biggest one that would fit in my stock battery location which ended up being a 960 CA-rated battery with 800 CCAs. With that, my upgraded Big 3, and having the alternator rewound to HO status I have had zero issues thus far *knock on wood* so I cannot justify the expense of an Optima, a Kinetik, etc etc...

That's what my boss has in the work trucks at the restaurant. There is 3 months out of every year that the trucks sit unused and after that bit of a 'vacation' all we have ever had to do is just hit 'em with a jumpstart and they're right back to life.

I'll have to give ya a X2 on that one.

Kinetik for pure juice. *2400 is the largest battery available on the market right now* (that I know of?)

Optima for reputation.

Stinger for smaller mounting options. (the 1000^2 is smaller than the factory battery in a honda civic)

Red Top under-hood in the truck. Had it for a few years now - never had any problems.

Will likely go Kinetik next time. Priceerformance, from what I've heard.

I also like the juice to weight ratio on the Kinetiks!

The 2400 is lighter than the 2150 from stinger.
