What are your thoughts on stetsom amps?

This for sure... I'm by no means a Stetsom or SD nuthugger, but how do u explain this -

And a lil Detail His Car the gain level are 1/4 opened !!! he is not even using 1/4 of the power on the 11k2d

he is loud !!! his car sounds amazing !!

that kind of talk is not good for the people who know how gain is set.. and what it means

people.....all this bickering....I am the North American Sales Rep for Stetsom and I know how strong the Stetsom 14k2d is, and I run them in my DAILY driver, I also placed 2nd in SS 1-2 at the Db-Drag finals running two amps @ 12v on 2-15's. I went against 8 IA amps at 18v and 2 18's. I lost in the final round by .1db. in my DAILY driver. I played music all the way to finals and all the way home. ( A 20 hour drive one way) You people have listened to someone that didnt know how to set up the amp and test to see what it was doing....user error..... Thors hammer burned two of the 12v amps because his car was making over 15.4 volts all the time. I personally sent him two extra amps to figure out this problem and we sent him the 16v version and he is doing 151.6 in the trunk with 2 10's and playing music daily as well. These audio forums are just rumor mills, we have sold almost 2000 amps here and our repair rate is less than 3%. Just think about what abuse an amp gets being shipped from brazil to america....we have a couple amps that got shook to death in shipping and dropped and broke, but those people assume that becasue their amp got hurt that all are no good. You people need to listen to the people that use these amps and find out the real deal. If you doubt the power or daily ability of these amps find someone that is using them and ask them what the deal is not a audio forum full of adolescent high schoolers that dont have a clue. It is physically impossible to pull 1200 amps through a single run of 1/0.
Answer me this, would you run the 14k with a single run of 1/0 in your vehicle?

I started to read this whole thread and stopped here cause I run my 14k on 2 runs of 0 and 5 batts for daily app.

Yes I know your gonna point out I had my own problems but we found out the cause (My car has too much voltage for the 12v version) and Stetsom was A+++++ in Customer Service in getting me the right amp for the job!

I switched from a pair of IA 40.1's to the 7k2d and gained 800 watts in power output. I then stepped up to the 7k2d and got another 1000 watts output. All this without changing my electrical. I ran both daily. I ran the 7kd @ .5ohms daily and never got it warm. Ran the 7k2d @ .7ohms daily and it to never got warm.

Im not a nuthugger either. I would love to have MY old IA 40.1's back also. I just love big amps and Stetsom really fills the bill

O and back in the day I hated stetsom from all the crap I heard on here about them and plus I didnt like dante. But I got a good deal and tried them out. So just try them u wont regret it

i told Steve about this none sense Thread

I asked him to give his piece of mind on it because he knows Thors hammer and i didnt know what happened with his amps

And plus there is a lot of people Full of thoughts and no Knowledge what so ever on how to install big amps

and i dont run big amps like Steve does Because im Street A class and then i asked him to say a lil something about his amps

I have 2k5d and 7k2d running daily with music and they are awesome they dont clip and pure sound !!!
