what are you guys paying for mdf board?

I wanted to build my 1st custom box. While getting supplies for a job i checked on the cost of 3/4" mdf at home depot today. It was 30 bucks for a full sheet. is that about right or can i find it cheaper elsewhere?

That is about average. It will range from around 28-38 depending on where the store gets their supply and general location.

Lowes is around 32-34 bucks here... It all depends on your location really. But around $30 bucks seems to be the norm.

You can always just buy extreme bulk..nothing like a few grand out in wood lol.

I got some cheap "birch" last time and it was ******. Full of voids, just the outside is birch

You have to be wary of birch at stores. Most do not carry good void free birch at all.
