its just with a lower impedance you can run more watts if your electrical can handle ityeah and i seen that if i had 2 d2s i had to wire down to .5 ohm ........ reason i ask i read somewhere a type r D2 slams harder then a D4...... i never really got into this system all i ever had was 2 12 pbx in a sealed box lol
i have a 95 sonoma, adding 2 alternators off a 00 silverado and 2 batterys..... so honestly go with the D4? i mean there the same price and if one is louder then the other ill get that, i want louder lolits just with a lower impedance you can run more watts if your electrical can handle it
You will not get louder period end of story... If you have that much power then why did you get SA's???i have a 95 sonoma, adding 2 alternators off a 00 silverado and 2 batterys..... so honestly go with the D4? i mean there the same price and if one is louder then the other ill get that, i want louder lol
ok thanks!!! ill get the D4s.... my truck is bagged so i still need power for compressors and what not, the Sa-12s fit in my budget and i only had 2 12s sealed, so i just want to be louder then what i was and im sure 1 12 will be way louder then both my 12s.... my 12s sealed got 96 DB on the jl audio app lolYou will not get louder period end of story... If you have that much power then why did you get SA's???
Sealed I would throw a couple hundred more at em probably but no big deal if you dont...thanks! whats the max watt/rms you guys would run on these
O ok well then be a little easier on em but Im sure you have read around at what they can do...im going ported, 30hz
Your to late on all of thatGet the D4's if you haven't hear that already... And I run mine around ~1300w on my single SA-10 ported ~33hz. That's a lot though. I'd say you're safer around 2000w for the pair. You're not gonna hear any difference between a couple hundred watts at that level anyways. The Massive N4 amp recommend earlier would be terrific. Or an AQ2200.http://www.caraudio.com/forums/amplifier-classifieds/523744-massive-audio-n4-excellent-condition-6-month-warranty.html
BOOM. Right there. Buy it right now.
