I have two subwoofers in a box; both Kicker Comp R's. They are 500 Watt RMS at 4 ohms. I'm not sure what amp(s) I should get and how it should be wired. My max budget is preferably $150 or less. Thank you in advance!
u don't want a 4 channel u want a mono amp.. are the subs d4? if so u need amp that's 1 ohm stable if they are svc4 ohm u need amp that does all it's power at 2ohm..Would this amp be a good option or is the watts too high?

do u know what the kicker did @ 4ohm?I have a couple of amps that would work for him.
I have a Hifonics Cyclops that's really a nice 1500W amp at 1 ohm I can do $150 shipped on
Also have a Dual DA8001 amp that does 1500W+ Rms Korean made and I can do for $95 Shipped
Both are in New condition
Also have a new condition Kicker KXM1200.1 amp I can do for $190 shipped that does over 1200W @ 2ohms
Also have a Rockville DB16... That's $200 though
All amps are Dyno tested for true power.
I have a couple more amps coming as well.
K i got it subscribed thanks.. here's link for others https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCglLe6GVa1SN1IQ6M8LoGMwIt's on my YouTube page //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but I think it was around 650 at 4 ohms.... I would have to go look.
no real way to know what ohm load is without seeing back of subs.. if thats the box u have just make sure u get amp with ss filter cause it's tuned about 45 hz play many tracks below 40hz can kill the subs thats lot of reason they have 500,000 of them refurbished on ebay for cheap.. my guess is they 4 ohm subs wired to 2 ohm final load., if so big blanks kicker 1200 amp he has for $190 is a great deal for u (if he sells it)..Here's some links to pictures of my sub so you can better figure this out. I don't know really anything about this.
