What Amp? Need some opinions....

Ok....I've got a 12" Kenwood KFC-W303...it's the tornado series sub or whatever...and it's in a medium sealed box. anyways....I want some sort of really clear amp to push it. I'm not looking for something that's gonna wake up the people across the street when i pull in....just something clear that adds more bass to my current setup. So.....doesn't need ALOT of power, needs to be clear, and needs to be less than $200....

Any suggestions?

your best bet would be to get an amp which is rated around 200w RMS - look at JBL, MTX, Rockford Fosgate, JLAudio. these examples will give you a good clean signal for a pretty good price for a 200w amp.

I'm assuming I should be looking at mono amps? Again, I really dont know alot about this stuff....but thanks for the suggestions. Any others would also be appriciated.

Once again, I'll recommend the JBL bp600.1. 300 x1 at 4 ohms or 600 x1 at 2 or 1 ohm(s). Got mine from ugonet.com for $187 plus shipping.

you can get either a mono amp or a stereo amp - as long as it is bridgable to mono.
