what amp for my subs?

Hey all

i have 2 punch 12 hx2's in a 3 cu. ft. ported box tuned to 35 hz,

and i am powering them with a fultron (soundstream) 300 x 2 amp

and anyway im looking for a GOOD CHEAP amp that is somewhere around 500 x 2 or 600 x 2

----------->so do you have any suggestions?

what is the voice coil configuration on them? heard good things about the jbl 1200.1. it's 1 ohm stable if they are dual 4 ohm and it outs out 1200 rms at 1 ohm and 2 ohm so whatever voice coils they are it should do fine. i don't think it comes with a ssf so you might want to buy one of those f-mod things if you go with the jbl

the jbl 1200.1 goes for $250 at ikesound. you can probably find them cheaper than that.

yep. definitely a good amp. also, planet audio, MTX, & Rockford have amps for your price...check out their last years models.
