How much of that comparison is because the legalized tobacco is backed by an industry that has created a tobacco cigarette that has a filter?

The article mentions tobacco smoke, not cigarette smoke. Based on that I'm thinking they are intending that it is just the raw tobacco smoke. I posted the article on response to someone who stated nobody had ever died from smoking weed, my segment is it is quite likely someone has.

Setting a precedent where the govt has the right to tax something out of existence, because they know its unconstitutional to actually illegalize it, is a good thing, right? Dont give in just because you dont participate in the act. Even non smokers should have a vested interest in the rights of smokers. Im not Muslim, but I believe in their rights.

Like it or not the precedent has been set, tobacco and liquor are taxed fairly heavily (at least here they are) why should put be exempt from that? If it is used for similar purpose why not have the government make some money off thee guys who choose to use?
