What 5k amp?

..a legitimate measurement with the cab sealed and the meter on the dash.

I metered it exactly how they metered all the vehicles at a recent competition in Las Vegas. If you don't want to accept that as a legitimate score that's fine. It will meter even higher now after changing amps, added lithium, and the subs are broken in.

At a minimum you should include how you measured whenever you brag about your score. Lots of people including myself put in a lot of resources to hit numbers on the dash with the vehicle sealed. That is the standard of reference. You're bragging about your crank horsepower when everyone else is dyno'ing at the wheels.

Not only that but either way people who have competed typically understand that 148.5 to 150.X isn't just a matter of opening the glove box, adjusting the visors and a little gorilla tape here and there.

What are you wired to? When I was wired at 0.7 I clamped 3k+ after rise and how do you plan on getting 4K after rise from a 5k u less you’re wired low?
I was wired to 1 ohm. I personally wouldn't recommend wiring Taramps under 1 ohm unless it's in the Bass line (which I suppose the new Smart 3 Bass would to 3k after rise wired under 1 ohm)or the 12k 0.5 ohm model.

And you probably wont get 4k out of a 5k at 1 ohm. That's why I'd get an 8k or a half bridge amp wired lower (guessing the refurb wolfram 4500 could do it at 0.5 ohm?).

Yea that’s true. I wonder what OP is wired to that would probably help lol

I metered it exactly how they did at a recent competition here. Why would I do it differently than that?

I changed amps and added lithium. I was dropping into the the high 11's. I didn't just play with the visors.

OK, so if you think those new batteries gaind you a deeb and a half, post up some scores. Whenever you get by the meter be sure to do one sealed at the dash for point of reference.

I changed amps as well. The SFB3K was very dirty power compared to the SIA3500. So, I figure new amp, lithium, and subs are broken in now should add something. I'm sure at the dash sealed will definitely make a difference. So, what number sealed at the dash would be legit? I wish that you could hear them. Having a small cab helps.
