Good luck with what ever you get, and I also forgot to mention my suggestion out of your choices, if anything, I would choose the Type-S, I haven't owned any, so I can't really say too much about them, but I have heard them, and they're definately a good sub. I just wouldn't go ported with them, to me, they sound like *** ported.

Yea i am really unsure with what i want right now haha. i have a 2.5 cubic foot sealed box fo 2 12s that i can get if needed.

1 sub setup would be what i would do if i had a good box. i just have a 1.25 cubic foot 12 box so i would have to buy a new box on top of it :-/

running off 250 rms each? they are out of my price range too. im suprised the MAW-12s price went up, i was looking into them.. dont know now 96$ each.

If you could do a 15" I have a prefab 15" box 2.65Ft^3 I'd sell you for 5+shipping. I'm telling you, those Hifonics are definately worth the money that you'd spend on them. Yeah, I know they're low end compared to some of the mentioned, but you'll be very suprised with the outcome of them. The do better sealed than ported though, but that's my opinion, I have a high tuned box, so that's probably my problem.

i think i would go with 2-12s. i like the punchy-ness of more surface area. and with the budget and watts you are working with i dont think you could get that amazing of a single sub that it would be better than 2.

The new line only has Dual 4... I might grab MAW-12s.. not sure yet.. i really like the older assassins too.

The Assasins are some really good sounding Subs, But the Mach 5's arent but if you are cash limited.
