What 12s should i get?

I am on a fairly tight budget. would like to stay around 150$ shipped for 2 12s. I like SQ and SPL so a mix of both is the best for me. I will be pushing the subs with a RF 501BD 500 RMS @ 2ohm so i need DVC2/SVC4 subs. I might be able to go up to 175$ shipped but just tell me what you think.

Here are the subs that I am debating about, if i'm missing any that should be up here than let me know and why thanks!

-Kicker CVRs

-Alpine Type-E

-Alpine Type-S

-MTX 5500s

-AA Assassins (older model svc4)

Each sub will be getting a max of 250 rms each, most likely around 200-225 daily so i want something that will last me a while but also make the most of the power given to them. I dont think im going to be upgrading my amp soon because my electrical is weak as it is. Thanks!

Im kindof in the same boat, but i'm looking to spend closer to $200 or $250, whatchya guys think for that range?

i would like 2 subs tho. so 2 for ~250

I can sell you Two Diamond Audio D6 Subs $ 250 + shipping OR tWO RE Audio SE's for $325 + shipping, But I would go for the SE or the AA both of these are a good start to build a system on.

my 1 12 box is a sealed 1.25 cubic foot so i dont think its going to be worth getting 1 good sub.. i have a decent 3.5 cubic foot ported 2 12 enclosure so thats the reason im wanting a 2 sub setup for now.

and wont 2 subs get louder than 1 12 with the same power?

i think i would have to get a new box if i wanted a 1 sub setup..

i would stay away from the CVRs my buddy has them and they are pretty loud and thats it. the have pretty bad SQ even for rap music. i like the assasins, the sound way better and will prolly get close to as loud.

yea my friend has cvrs too. pushing offf about ~700 ish rms. they are loud but dont sound clean at all. my first choice is the assassins but they are so rare these days haha. so whats the best way to go about this. many people say 1 good sub rather than 2 cheap subs. the problem is i have a ported 3.5 cubic foot box for 2 12s and a 1.25 cubic foot sealed for 1 12 lol. wouldnt 2 subs be louder than 1 with same rMS?

If you want 2 decent subs, that will do good in your box, I'd go for some Hifonics HF series, or the new HFi series, although I don't think they come in S4 configurations. I was very suprised with the HF12D4's that I got, I actually like these better than my 15" RE SR. They get loud, and for only ~$100 shipped, you can't beat them really.

haha my brother is rocking those right now but doesnt have an amp to power them. i might hook them up to my car and see what they sound like. thanks for the suggestion.
