What 12s or 15?

They are nothing like what they used to be.. no surprise they blew.. Power series and GTI series only ones they make now that can actually take some power..

Yea lol i kinda got ripped off when i bought them i think but oh well i cant take back my mistake. How would 1 sundown sa-12 do in a properly tuned box? Would 500rms push it good enough?

They are def no power series or GTI, so No comparison at all..... the SunDown will make that low end JBL cry home to momma... as long as you get a good box and have it tuned right..

Get a dc level 3 15 199 shipped i am only runnin 700w and it hit a 140 in an extended cab truck

I might go with a single sa-12... How much better would a dc lvl 3 15 be than the sa-12 though? And how many watts rms can i run on my 8ga wire?

wow i'm runnin 500 on 8ga right now lol... I guess i better get new wire when i get a new amp, 8ga barely fits in the fosgate's terminal... Will 4 gauge handle 1200 rms if i decide to go that big?

I would run the SA's before the lvl 3s, I just think that they are a bit more stout...but non the less, they are very similar drivers...and obviously, the DC 15 has cone area on an SA 12

Alright i'm gonna go with the SA i think. Whats a good box size and tune to go with for this sub? What kind of port should i run? If it makes any difference i have a jeep cherokee...
