ya no joke...everyone here in Omaha either has "dude get a TREO" or "ha you cant beat my JL" its the same old same old...my buddies a good friend with the sales people down at Metro and i laugh at them when they tell him about how they held the loudest sound vehicle for 7 years running and shit like that. if you go down there and ask for a SQ setup they say they make you a ported box tuned to like fizucking 38hz..i laugh at them...they want to sell me some crappy lil type s for like 150 bucks...i laughed so hard..they also wanted to sell me 1/0 gauge power wire for 150 bucks! give me a holler sometime DJSCREW..

I use the S 12 in both of my cars... i like em alot. Cheap and loud, 150 is a friggen STEAL for what the subs are capable of. voltage drops to 11 with the car on... i hate to see what it does with car off... the amps barely hold. I have another battery, just need to swap it in. The one in there wont sit above 13 volts anymore. It was at 12.9 while *being charged* after the burp.. yea... thats how low it is lol. It was at 12.5 before the burp, and probably dropped to 12.3 or so by just turning on the amps, typically does.

The setup is intended for MECA, which is in the kick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I can run the car which helps alot, but it was in my garage and i enjoy breathing oxygen.

I'm not getting more than 1500 watts, thats what they put out in my monte carlo, which only dipped to 13 volts. I'd guess closer to 1200-1300 in the blazer.

One of the "big" brands around here, well at least this one shop, is Cadence. Yup....cadence. These guys talk all sorts of shit and never back any of it up. We ask if they wanna go on the meter and they say it's "rigged" by certain companies, or that the meter manufacturer "turned down" the mic so it reads lower.
