Welding Wire vs. Anything else

It's lower strand count than most purpose mad car audio cable and has a different jacket composition (and the jacket is typically thicker) with the end result being that it is less flexible than the higher end (read more expensive) car audio cable. Unless you need really flexible cable (it DOES make it easier to run under carpet without producing a bulge) the difference may not make it worth spending the extra on PG, Monster Cable, Stinger, etc...

welding cable is extremly flexible imo. it's more flexible then the memphis, stinger, and knukonceptz wire i have used. i don't know why people say it isn't flexible.
Different manufacturers obviously have different strand counts, "welding cable" is simply a generic term for large guage wire often used to power welding machines. Where did you get yours from?

car audio wires have a much higher stand count but dc current runs on the outer most diameter so the more stands the more flow you get that would be the most advantage to use car audio wire
Nobody has ever gained from using "car audio" wire vs. welding wire, in all the people i've talked to.

Wire is wire. If you think that having more strand counts makes a significant difference, you are brainwashed.

Got anything to back this up with?
Yea. For the Knukonceptz Kolusses Kable, the 0 Ga has over 5000 strands of 36 ga, and on weldingwire.com, their 0ga has just over 1100 of 30 ga...

I've been thinking of just going with more knukonceptz, I like it, plus it will match. I'm still not sure though...
