weird rumbling sounds

took out my box, connected it and suddenly im getting these random rumbling sounds when im playing my subs. just sounds like random frequencies going to the subs while the music is playing.

any idea what it could be? i cnt think if anything

Had that problem once it was a rca pinched tight under the kick but there was no cut just interference.

alright cool. thanks. il try this! i havnt moved my rcas at all, so idk. but definitely worth a try. i moved them around on my hu to see if this works, and it sounded okay now, but its 10pm so i cant really teest. will have to wait til tomorrow. thanks man, hopefully its something simple like this that i wont have to spend money to fix!! lol

its a signal problem, one way to test that kind of thing is to hook up a cheap portable cd player or mp3 player to your amp directly and see if you can reproduce the issue.

thanks for the help. i just kind of moved the rcas around a bit at the hu n i switched them around and its fine now. hopefully its not my hu having troubles on the sub output. that would ****.

run a rca over the seats directly from the HU to the amp and see if that solves the problem if it does then it is rca related between your HU and amp
