Weird Occurances

Well... I just got done with my box. Hooked up the subs, wiring, and the amps. Turned the volume up 2/3 of the way, and my speakers started to cut out. Now I've got major speaker whine and on/off thump like I did when my head unit broke a month ago.

I was just listening to it an hour ago with the old box and I could crank it and it sounded fine, no speakers cutting out or anything. Now I install my new box and bam, my systems broken again. wtf happened?

Maybe the box is pinching a wire or pressed against an RCA cable?.

bad ground.. speaker wire short.. too low of an ohm load.. which could have fried the amp.

the weird thing is it was running fine a few hours ago... I took out the subs and cup terminals, put them in the new box, and re-attached everything. I even had only one sub going for a few minutes (before I hooked up the second) in the new box and it worked great. I dont get it
