Weird Mag Noises?

Hey I have a 15" SI Mag in a 4.0cube box tuned to 30hz running off of a nine.1. The other day I had it in and was bumping like normal and started to hear a rattling noise from my trunk. I just dissmissed it as my car rattling cause it only happened when I turned it up. Today I took the box out and it sounds like its coming from behind the cone or out of the port. Could this be the tinsel leads hitting the sub or something alot worse? The sub still slams like a mofo it just has that rattling noise i pushed the cone in and out and didn't feel no rubbing or scratching.

It could be a number of different issues. It would be best to pull it out of the box and check it out.

run it free air and see how it sounds... don't use the same power though, much less

yea, im having the same exact problem. i went through all my grounds. i cant figure it out. i cant run my sub very much because im restricted by that dam noise. idk what to do.

now, i think it might be how i ran my rcas. or its my box. did you biuld yours yourself? it could be that the box is rattaling, or a screw came loose.

X2 only way to really tell if its the driver or box if you cant tell where its coming from.
