ok.. so, when i hook my RCA's up to the front aux, or the subwoofer output i get ALOT of alt whine. when it hook it up to the rear AUX output, theres no alt whine at all. which means, im running my front comp set/amp off of the rear output on the HU. when i run RCA's for my woofers, since theres alt noise in that aux output, will i hear alt whine in my subs? do u know of any reason why all of these outputs produce alt whine? LOC's didnt work either. they made the music sound HORRIBLE... it would get quiet, then loud, then distort.. all at random times. so i didnt use the loc. i replaced my 5900iB because it got fried, havent sent it in yet to be be repaired. so i bought the 6900UB to use until i get my eclipse HU, but wont be for a while. so im stuck with this. any reasons to why i have alt whine on all aux outputs except rear output? BTW with it on rear output, i cant fade to front. cuz when i do, the HU/amp thinks theres nothing there so nothing plays. its all being played off of the rear output.

from what i've read on here pioneers have bad RCA grounds. most people took bare wire and wrapped it around all of the RCA terminals and then connected it to a screw on the case of the HU and it will ground with the rest of the HU. search pioneer RCA ground and there is a thread somewhere with details on the fix and pictures of how to do it.

Sometimes the sound gets a bit lower, then gets normal again, only listening to FM radio. It does not do this when streaming music via wired Apple...
