Weird amp problem

Hey! My Ampire MX1 is making me crazy, it will function properly at all volumes but all of a sudden it will only output sound at high volumes that is distorted and dull //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif All the wiring is good and I've tried to switch out the RCA cable with no luck. There doesnt seem to be any play in the RCA connector or anything else that solves the issue. I know I should replace it but im poor af so i need some advice

IF ground is good could be bad preamp output on hu or just bad amp.. u need to swap amp with a friend see if his amp works fine if so it's your amp..
