Wehre do I run the power in my Blazer?

too risky
No it's not, I did it with 1/0 wire and it works just fine. No drilling through firewall involved an no need to run power wire inside the cabin... What's the risk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Wrap the power wire in flex conduit underneath...

im just too afraid it will get cut somehow and ground out on the frame.

ok in a 98 blazer shouldnt be too different from my 98 s-10. if you look on the passenger side behind the carpet on the firewall you should see a gromet w/ a wire going thought it. that wire is the antenna for the stereo. thats where i have mine ran to. but make sure you seal it back up or else you will have water leaking in it when you run your a/c for a long period. there is also a place on the passenger side near the brake resivoir i think im not too for shure.

i looked everywhere and found nothing...
The antenna wire may run through a large + circular + black grommet on the passengers side somewhere. Just a single black wire running through a pretty large grommet. Cut an X in it and you could probably fit 2 AWG wire through - maybe even 1/0.

If there is no grommet there, I'd try getting in touch with 'smullen'. He may be able to help you.

Bastard, beat me to it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Good spot to run it though. Carpet comes up easily, run it right along the edge of the vehicle right to the rear - one of the easier power wire runs in my opinion.

I say Run a run of 0/1 or two runs of 0/1 under the truck, tucked in the frame rail where possible... Also, you can go to Home Depot, Lowes, etc.. and get a roll of 1", 1.5" or 2" armored conduit to run and protect it in...

Also, fuse it at front (within 18" of Battery) and at the rear before your distribution Blocks(s)....

Use Grommets like this.. http://www.cardomain.com/item/STRFWB0
