Wow. I've never seen anything like that. Us northerners are the biggest hacks you will ever see. We just don't see stuff like that up here.

So, obviously "Kerfing" is the rounding of MDF. Very impressive looking. What is the procedure for this? Do you just make the cuts and the MDF will hesitantly make the bend, or do you heat the wood to bend it? Then it looks like you used fibreglass resin to fill the cuts and strengthen the bend?

That is amazing man. Kudos to you for a box that nice.

essentially yes, i had to play around with the depth on the cuts. if its not deep enough you will break the mdf while bending it. although you can tell if its too stiff to bend. no heat involved.

it's not paint..it is more of a liquid plastic urithane:D
where might i find this lovely stuff?
