Unless you're burping there isn't much airflow anyway. There's alot of pressure but not really airflow. That's the reason people put **** in the port and watch it move around in there. If it was airflow, what ever they put in the port would just shoot out.

45s only hurt if you take up net airspace thats not already accounted for. If they already are accounted in the displacement, they are not gonna hurt, they'll help a bit.

You've got far bigger issues with this build than adding polyester resin to the inside of the box. Save it for another project.

Already coated the port and a large portion of the inside with resin. I'm just going to finish it up, because I have plenty of resin.

The resin will help with airflow and seal up and gaps anywhere. It won't hurt. It will also make your box harder which is good

The only kind of wax that would help you would be a carnauba kind. There's a reason people don't wax cars with candles lol.
