you can put subs back there, but we are trying to tell you through sarcasm is that it will not be loud and will not sound good.

if you are trying to make it loud outside the vehicle, you are the person we dislike because you give the rest of us a bad rep.

I think "hanging out and seeing who has the loudest system" is being a douche bag. What's the point of having subs if you can't hear them in the vehicle anyways?

Well it wont sound very good with the subs outside. You can use Pro Audio type drivers and build a box similar to concert speakers. But Car audio subs are designed to be used in confined spaces and can actually be damaged when used outside.

Build a bandpass out of wood, then coat the entire enclosure in fiberglass. Since it is a bandpass, the sub itself will not be exposed to the weather.

BTW, this was done alot in the 80s and is still done alot in Japan and south america.

so anyone that goes to compititions with a shit load of subs in the back of their truck with there little seal it up tonnel cover.. wtf is the point of that then kharps?

Because they cut out the back of the cab and the subs are either ported into the cab or the front part of the box actually sits in the vehicle.
