Its a 93 lincoln town car and it needs a certain type of tool to remove the h/u. Im asking if there is another option rather than buying the tool for that car?

Does it have four holes? (Top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right)

use 4 nails or something.

Cut two 10" pieces of wire coat hanger, bend them each in a u shape. This should be all you need.

Yes thats how it is. Also using nails or coat hangers that wont damage the factory h/u will it?

no.. you might want something a little stronger then a coat hanger

id just go buy a set of ford radio removal keys from wallmart..

no, it wont damage it, but it also wont work...

just go to wal mart and get the tools... its like $4...

nails and coathangers wont work because they dont have thehooks on the end to physically pull the unit out.

I've used this method more times than I care to remember. It works just fine.

lol, thats the thing that gets everyone. you save and save for the big pieces, but its the little stuff that ads up and nickles and dimes you in the install.

You aint lyin at this rate I will have to sell the sub and get 2 8's just so I can afford to get all the stuff installed.
