Is there another tool that can be used to remove the factory h/u if you dont have the one you get with the car? If I dont have to buy one that would be very nice.

Does it have four holes? (Top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right)Its a 93 lincoln town car and it needs a certain type of tool to remove the h/u. Im asking if there is another option rather than buying the tool for that car?

I've used this method more times than I care to remember. It works just fine.you might want something a little stronger then a coat hanger

just go to wal mart and get the tools... its like $4...
nails and coathangers wont work because they dont have thehooks on the end to physically pull the unit out.
