Wanting a solid 2.1 system...

...but there's a catch. I want a wireless remote. I also want a good substage, as in i'm wanting frequency response at around 40~50hz...if not a nice 30 odd hz. Its going in my room, a simple closed retangle room, so imaging isn't too much a problem. Anybody have any good suggestions? Its going to act as my xbox 360 sound, my TV sound and my DVD sound. Max budget 150 shipped...but i'd really like to keep it lower.

Thanks alot guys! PM me if you happen to have any offers, of course. But i'm mostly looking to buy from a store, since this is for a friend.

that logitech looks nice.

or you could build one yourself.

i spent less than $120 putting mine together. it sounds great and would sound better if i were to ever get around to building the tabaq enclosures and porting my sub. too bad they got rid of the old style t-amp and hiked up the price on the new one.

no wireless remote, but i've been eyeing these myself

I got these for $55 on sale locally one weekend. Best thing I've done in years. Not perfect by any means, but definitely does the job. Last year I had girls from 6 doors down in the dorm complain while I played Late Nite Tip. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Why do you want a wireless remote?

A solid stereo for 150 dollars is a stretch. The only real way you'll swing that is DIY with full ranges and no sub, or a HTIB system / computer audio setup. Otherwise, to get what you're asking (true 30hz reproduction) you would be spending a CHEAP 150 bucks on a sub shipped alone, and that's going to be something small like an 8" TB w/ 75 watt amplifier. To get anything decent, you'll need to spend at least 100 on a sub driver itself, which, in this realm, is cheap. An 8" Dayton RS HO sub is probably the best bargain out there
