I've gone through 3 crappy MTX enclosure from Circuit S****y, they keep falling apart.

I have a Directed 1500D pushing two 12 Type R's

Are there any strength issues with kerfing pieces that are inside the box as opposed to inside the port?

I just ended up getting a basic double-baffled .7cf box from him for my 10, but that box woulda been niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice to have!

Still, this box he built is some good stuff, I can't wait to give it a work out!

I believe he had said that he filled the gaps with glue, and once dried, they were just as strong. You may want to verify that with him however, I'm not 100% sure.
