want to be a little louder

^^ he keeps telling you thats all the power he has...but with only 6 cubes...thats not much room at all..not for a big low tuned box...maybe a single 18''...possibly a nightshade or dc level 4 xl with external aeros??....and btw i dont beleive with only 6cubes you have those l7's in a proper box tuned to 33....you would need almost 3cubes per not including port and displacement...and your port would have to be somewhere near 1.5-2.0cubes...so maybe drop down to 2 12''s and give em a little bitter box or still the 18'' idea

ported tuned to 33hzit is loud but i would like to be a little louder

also i have no meter and do not know anyone in my area with one so i have no clue on what number im hitting

i would honestly like to do hairtricks more then loudness but imnot sure exactly how to other then tune low big box and lots of power

but i have little room and limited power atm
I have a term lab and I'm just down hwy 55 south. PM me and we can get you on the meter and see whats up. I can also check out your setup and see what you could do different.

As for hair tricks..you can do that with your current setup with no problems.(change to 2 12's would be ideal..optimal air space available.)

6 cubes is not nearly enough room for two L7 15's for a daily system. It will probably be very peaky, which could be viewed as getting 'louder', but if your definition of louder is at the lower octaves, its certainly hurting your output potential.

All Kicker square subs were 'designed' for small boxes, but love large boxes. I think you'd actually come out ahead moving to 2 12" L7s. The box would be more up their alley, you'd get more efficient use of your amp, it would be more impressive than 2 15's if it made the same numbers. You aren't using a square sub at it's potential. My 2 12's have over 6cu. each, 5.85 after displacement.

Tried to not go down the "can you find more room" or "double your power" route half the people replying did.

Kicker likes to claim their square subs are designed for small enclosures, but that's simply not the case. Lets look at this logically. Like Kicker says, the square cone increases cone area quite a bit. Kicker likes to suggest a 12" square sub is nearly equal to a 15" round sub. Well, if that's true (and its not far off), then why should we not expect the enclosure requirement to be closer to that of a standard round coned 15" sub's enclosure size requirements. Kicker wants their cake and eat it too. They want to say their square subs are like up-sizing one size in round subs, but also want to claim the enclosure size requirements stay the same to rond 12" drivers. This is simply a marketing gimmick.

So knowing this, even looking at round coned 15's, 6 cubes for both subs, before displacement, is already on the small side. Now consider you (the OP) are actually using subs with cone area closer to that of 18's, and it becomes clear your 6 cube box is way way undersized. wickedwitt is right, square coned subs like larger boxes. IMO you'll likely see a drastic improvement by redesigning the box, and/or going to two 12's to better accommodate the space you have available.
