hell we just called it an angle brace lol. rear loader? but that sounds like a hick tool for a truck or someshit LOL
was told to do it as close to half the bottom depth to about the same length on the back wall

Is it designed that way to direct the wave toward the opening of the port through the law of reflection? Because if it is half the bottom depth it should direct the wave perpendicular to the base.

you will have to ask teamsogopoof on that, but as far as thats concerned....if it was perpindicular, it would be 90 degrees.......no angle lol. either way, it prolly DOES that to some extent but its really to keep it more linear.

so all that work you had done in that other thread is getting torn out?
Yep, Grant posted a pic of the new dance floor sitting where it's going to go... spent 5 hours taking the old one out with my friend today.

wow, yoyu must be hard to please. isnt this like the 4th enclosure being torn out in the last 2 months?

but this time it will be right.

And the gap on the BTLs are SO incredibly tight that you want them to load properly to avoid scrapping, especially with 4kw per sub.

The angle wall helps them subs load a little bit more evenly, doesn't really have anything to do with "pushing air out" lol

Doubt those amps will get him anywhere near 4K per sub.

Might get 2500 at most.

I'm going to invest in a clamp meter sometime soon (after I order the Kinetiks) and post MY results from the amps... so we'll see. Either way it's going to be no less than 2kw per sub (WORST case scenario) which will still be LOUD. I'd imagine my 20.1 was giving ~2kw to my BTL when it was in the trunk.... insane.
