Middle. Its the gross measurements. I can fit a box, no kind of slanted top shoulder pieces.

I have seen yours but I dunno about cutting up my rear deck and all that. Still a daily driver.

If you can come up with some kind of measurements, I want it tuned to 30hz and I just got jellyfish's design and that looks promising. Would you reccomend port on top or bottom, or would it even make a noticble difference.

i like port bottom, you can feel it a whole lot more.

im not suggesting that you do any cutting....check the dancefloor that i put in.

you need some 1/2 or 5/8 bolts, and fender washers on each side

measure from the sides......where you think that the sides of the box will be.

if you measured from the middle, once you get the back, and other shit on, the top and all that wont fit, because the middle has a bow, and the sides probably wont evenm go on right.

My gas tank is right below my rear seats. I dont really have a choice. I hear if I use some Liquid nails or something and some plumbers straps, I should be fine.

don't chince out on the dance floor...it could KILL YOU! seriously, if you was in a little fender bender, would you feel safe w/ liquid nails and plumbers strap being the only thing holding 200lbs of wood, and speakers from squishing you? is your grand am the 2 or 4 door? i've got an 01 4door in my driveway. if i get a chance tommorow i'll check it out and see what i would do w/ the dance floor.

heres what i would do...

for the back, get you some metal, thicker metal...not plumbers strap. make it come down from your seat belt, and put a bolt through that. here's a pic, you should be able to tell from that. back ones from seat belt down, and the front, put the bolt right in the corner, gas tank doesn't go all the way to the corner. i would get a nut and bolt, weld the nut to the floor( you know, pull the carpet back, then cover it back up. w/ a little slit in the carpet) here is a crappy paint pic. here is a quick legend:

red= metal

yellow= wood/gas

blue=nut/bolt

black=car

the nut welded to the floor, the bolt the metal to the nut. i would screw 2 pieces of wood together for the dancefloor, that way you could countersink the nuts. (the small pic in the corner is a close up of the welded bracket.

if you use liquid nails in the front, and run the dance floor all the way to the back of the botom of the trunk (2 piece it if you have too) and run some bolts through, you will be fine.

plumbers strap wont do anything but snap and probably come flying at you after the wall has smashed you.

IIRC when i had my G/A apart the floor of the trunk sits up QUITE a bit higher than the front, i believe if he was to do that he would end up w/ a bit of an angle for the dance floor. if you had the resources. i'd drop the tank and run some bolts up from the bottom. than put the tank back in...but i know not everyone can drop a tank //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
