Alright. I got the dancefloor in yesterday. All level. It sits on the back trunk lip and is dead even. I used only wood glue and liquid nails to hold it all together....which i heard will do the trick. I cannot bolt anything down, seeing as the dancefloor is only over top of the tank. I do not want to drop the tank and i am willing to fill the bottom below the dancefloor with any kind of wood/liquid nails and anything else i can find and screw the dancefloor down into the other wood.

asking a question. I cannot bolt anything under the dancefloor. I am stuck with liquid nails. pics tomorrow. hopefully back wall and sides also.

if nothing else run some (thick) angle brackets from the back of the box to the trunk of the floor. in addition to your straps. i'd hate to see the headline "PERSON KILLED BY BASS"

What about using L shaped brackets in the back of the wall to connect to the floor of the trunk? Alot of them larger sized punks should do the trick... well, better then what you've got going now. Filling underneath it w/ glue and liquid nails is going to do nothing for you when you go from 55mph to 0 in a split second. It was said before... The gas tank isn't that big, just find out where it runs

those wont do anything either...screws will rip out of the wall...it will hold it in place, until he hits the brakes any harder than normal....

bolt through the metal...
