w505 and Iphone issue

w505 installed, using alpine full speed usb connection for iphone (original, not 3g) integration, worked great for a month or 2 now the video playback is non existent, it is grey, grainy and distorted and the sound consists of buzzing and hissing....everything else works fine, can play music and see album art all day...any ideas?
