it was a warmer day outside....had the system where i usually listen to it....and the volt meter on the truck started to drop not super fast but it slowly drops....it retarded because it only running at 800watts.....people run a lot more then that and don't have any problems....im using 4 gauge wires....the people that set it up left the amp ground wire kinda long....there is a pointless capacitor....would getting rid of it help....it was doing it last night worst when i had my lights on....i think the alt is a 136 amp.....i did the big three....whats the next step....

Shorten the ground and lose the cap. You mat need a new battery.

maybe u need a HO ALT... and what ohm you playing at ??? and my that amp is power HUNGRY !!! *chomp chomp chomp*.... "delicious"

the amp is at 2 ohms....sometimes amps to just draw more then others do?...would it be a bad idea to put in a kinetik...or just another battery?...thats what i was thinking about doing?

would shortening the ground really help with the voltage drops? because my ground is pretty long and if it does, i might as well shorten mine ASAP since mine is way longer than needed.

I agree. Shorten the ground, and get a nice battery up front.

Periods and capitals are a great thing.

A long ground is not a problem with 4 gauge on 800w. Sounds like a BAD ground is the issue here.

I am running 1400wrms on a stock electrical (126A alt), no big 3, and minor voltage drops on near sine-wave material.
