Voltage meter

I wanted a voltage meter so that I could always know how many volts the amplifier has (don't want it going under 13volts).

Will some thing like this be what I need:

If you just set your gains correctly and not crank it full blast, you shouldn't have that problem...

Thats true but I always like knowing where my voltage is at since my cars stock one sucks and doesn't move.

If you're wanting to see what kind of voltage is being fed to the amps then connect it at the amps. The voltage reading right at the battery terminals may or may not be (dependant on many factors) the same as what might be read at the battery itself.
