Voltage experts!! Help!!!

Ya but the thing is I feel I shouldnt be dropping that low. With 1 g34 2 g31s and a 250 amp alt. I am idling at 14.4. Hell it stays 14.4 until I REALLY crank the bass up. Then it just all goes to hell.

Its a pretty big amp....its the same as a RD 3250.1 which is rated at 3750 watts at .875 ohm

Thats alot to put out gettin full power.......what do the dekas rest at?

Full tilt reving steadt at 2000rpms with a song that has a CONSTANT bass line it goes to 12.1-12.2

idk thats odd i mean i am only running a zx1500.1 at 2ohms and a zx850.4 for comps and only have stock 130amp alt, no big 3 just a gold duralast upfront, a stinger spv70 in the back with a run of 1/0 pos and neg, so roughly 2200-2400rms on songs like blue berry yum or put on the front battery is around 13 back battery is around 12.5-12.7 and the amp is around 11.9-12.4

idk why i am seeing such a voltage drop from the batt to amp its around a half volt and the back battery to front battery i am losing about a half volt as well

I never actually tried to test my batt up front at full tilt...gonna have to see if im losing any...i doubt it though

Ya what Ill do is just put a song on with a constant bass line. DMM the front battery til it stops dropping. Front battery will stop dropped at 12.4-12.5 is where it sits at full tilt. Then Ill go to the amp and it will be at 11.7-11.8

Use one positive and one negative run. You probably have a crappy ground or just your frame isnt very conductive. Eleminate the grounds completely and go too the battery up front and the voltages should match up.

He had a G34 up front and a HC2400 in the back on two 1500D's at .5ohm and didnt drop this badly, IIRC.

Methinks batteries no good.
