Voltage Drops

Only thing I can think is

1) it's a class a/b amp

2) something wrong with the power/ground connections

3) it's a smaller amp so you're trying to push it harder than it wants, meaning lower efficiency and more distortion, both require more current from your charging system.

If you see some of the birth sheets that show you power output and distortion, you'll see that once you get to a certain point distortion rises like crazy. So just pushing the amp a little too hard, maybe not even being able to notice it, will cause a good deal of distortion/extra power.

Thats what I figured cause it does its max at 1ohm and well its at 1ohm at full tilt and i turned it down just a tad and it seemed better, and it does sound kinda distorted but well directed
