voltage drops affecting amp output??

you can get by without an alt if you get a decent charger and watch what you are doing. Way back in the old days all we had was 140 amp alts no agm batteries and class A/B amps...they were not 4k in power but when people ran 4 or 12 of them you could get up there in consumption.

Ditch the cap and add another battery.

I low volted and fried my amp trying to push 3000rms out of a 120amp alt, and I had 2 yellow tops...... I was pissed, but it openned my eyes to how important a good electrical is. I guarantee your amps aint cheap

could see if Missing Link Audio (MLA) has a harness for your car as well.

there hifonics 2008's ;-) and if i could get a decent price on a h/o bracket i might consider a 250-300 amp alt but theres still the pulling of the engine to swap em...
