Voltage drop

Quick question, probably no definitive answer but...I just ran 0 gauge (used to be 4) and replaced stock bat with a YT. I have a voltage display on dash and it looks like it drops more often now, but not as badly. It used to drop into 11.5-12 range on extended very low notes, and stay above 13 with higher bass notes, and on simple kicks it would never register a drop. Now it drops even on kicks down to about 13.8 from 14.1-2 momentarily, but never goes below ~12.4-5 even on extended lows.

So my question is, do you think I may have a bad connection somewhere resulting in more frequent voltage drops? Or does this probably mean my amp is being able to **** more power than it could off 4 gauge? I'm running

i was playing with my dmm past couple of days and noticed with the ac and on it made a big diff and same with the headlights

the second i turned the ac on it droped form 14v to 13v and then would idle at 13.5v

so your saying its dropping to 12.5v instead of 11.5v now? i dont see a problem

no i think thats normal that its dropping some. only dropping to about 12.5v isn't bad at all.

and it may be that with the 0 guage battery there may be more current flowing to the amp

Well yes, that part is good, but that was expected because now I have a decent battery, the old one was not only a POS to begin with, but it sat at barely 12v. The thing thats strange is I didn't used to have voltage drops on kicks and stuff like that, and now I do, dropping from 14.1-2 to around 13.6-8 for an instant or two.
