Voltage drop in 99blazer

So im running a kicker zx750.1 my voltage is above 14V at idle it will dip down to around 12 or so. I work at an audio store but we do not do much set-ups past a 1000rms alot of cookie cutter 500rms setup etc. I dont have very much money tied up in my system at all and im trying to find a CHEAP fix to my problem. Any cheap fixes or advice. I was thinking a Stinger SPC505 its a 5 fared Hybrid Digital capacitor. It says it works similar to a batter and capacitor combination. I had a costumer that had a rockford t1500 in a newer escalade and that SPC505 elimanated his voltage drop and kept his voltage at like 15v.

Another question is what makes a car audio battery different than a stock car battery. Im sure i could research the answer but i would like to have a little discussion on this?

Big 3 and where are is your amp grounded to? The body of the truck really isn't a good ground. There was a large body grommet on the passenger floor on my truck that I used and I grounded right to the frame. I have 01 blazer 2dr.

do the big 3 and upgrade your battery especially if its stock. Lead acid batteries **** when compared to "car audio" batteries.

Lead acid batteries are slower, weaker, and less stamina than other options like agm or gel cell but I prefer the agm option.

Factory alt is weak try getting a large case from a Tahoe or suburban at the junkyard should be cheap $40-$50 they are a lot stronger than the factory small case and should bolt up no problem.

I believe the center bolts for the rear seat would be the best ground without going to the frame. Body ground on a body on frame vehicle usually isn't all that great

Car audio batteries like XS power have a lower internal resistance than standard lead acid batteries. The can supply large amounts of current quicker than a normal battery.

Also... don't bother with a cap

Ya im going to do the big 3. If i have a stock alternator and stock battery can i expect my voltage drop to stop after the big 3?

From what ive always heard, dont ever use a factory bolt? But to each its own

That spot is more substantial than most places on the body. On a blazer forum they say it ties into the frame from that point but without getting under my truck I can't confirm that. I had my amp grounded there and didn't have a problem. Only reason why I moved it was because I made a substantial upgrade to my electrical and needed the best connection possible.
