Viper Questions

no there isn't a 1500.1 it's 1200.1 and yea it should push them nice as long as you can get a 1 ohm final load then you will be giveing each one 6-650 watts

ok thanks i will go with a 1200.1 viper next week.
12" or 15" inch L7's? either way your probably gonna clip the fock outta that amp. the 12"s can take 750+ easy and the 15"s can take 1000+ easy per speaker so i doubt a viper 1200 is gonna be enough for you. just my opinion and somethin for you to thing about.

Just because the power handling of the sub is greater than the output of the amp doesn't mean that he will clip it. I have the uber with 600 watts going to it and its not clipping.

say what you like but the cold hard reality is that the temptation to crank is just too great. i almost always get an amp that is rated higher than the subs ability to take it because you can easily tell when your subs are being overpowered as opposed to overpowering the amp.
