big 3 helps a tonnnnnn. i did it and gained over a full db. and my dimming stopped. i have the one c and d on stock 95 amp alt and get no voltage drop unless i just wang on it for a long time. ill get ya some wire for the big 3 if you need. ill get ya like 12 ft. that should be enough.

1/0 will be fine. Anything larger is overkill for ~2500 watts.

this, me and this guy know about the c and ds. they like some nice thick wire to give you the voltage you need. they can handle about 2500 rms each with decent alt to back it. 1/0 will help you tremendously!

Maybe it has something to do with running 3000rms on stock electrical? Good way to fry your equipment.

yea i had a stock 130amp alt on my truck big 3 in 1/0 gold duralast upfront, and a run of 1/0 power and ground to back battery stinger spv70 on a kicker z1500 at 1ohms only 1500 watts and at idle full tilt i dropped to low 12's. so on 2500 watts you need the big 3 for sure
