Vibraflex sound deadener

I’m going to be putting a sundown Xv3 15 in a 2015 Mazda 6 powered by a JP33. What thickness of vibraflex should I get for the roof? I do want to put my headliner back on as well
It sounds like you're working on an exciting audio project! For specific technical advice like choosing the right thickness of Vibraflex, I recommend checking with audio installation professionals or specific automotive forums for the best recommendations.

You are on the right place. Wait around and hopefully you will get some insightful responses.

I got no idea. How thick can you get it / what thickness mat do they offer?

Personally i use mdf with pl 8x

I would go as thick as possible
If you pull your headliner down you will get a better idea on how thick you can go
There should be roof supports like cross members as long as your vibraflex stays within that thickness there shouldn't be an issue
Looks like their thickest is 225 mil which is about a quarter inch. I suspect you shouldn't have any issues with that

Do you have a sunroof?
