if he has the bose system i would think he has stock amps not hu power. i would think it would be more like 40 or 50w if this is the case.

Im just going by his own words.

my dad got a new HU in his acura tl and the stock speakers are fine for him, but the bose sub wont work. he wont upgrade the door speakers, i already tried. he doesent need much at all bass, just a little. so is there a sub around liek the 15-30$ range that doesent need an amp? (run off HU if thats even possible) i think the opening is 10inch
